Staycation at Orchard Parade Hotel (14Dec2009)

Haha... I know this post is a bit outdated but Mama did not have much time

recently to update my blog (psss... she was feeling abit queasy recently)... We had a night's stay compliments from Yeye... As we were near Holland Village, Dada brought us there to eat Kai See horfun (where Dada and Mama had their 1st meal together in S'pore in 2005)

My First Haircut (not the shave botak kind)

Dada and Mama decided to go to a professional hairstylist to cut my hair this time for Chinese New Year... They brought me to Junior League at Suntec City...Initially I was excited at the salon as there were many toys over there for me to play... However, I started crying when Dada carried me up to the chair as I knew that my hair was going to get cut (and I hate it like mad as I always scream Eeee when I see the tiny strands of hair dropping around me!) And 'cos I didn't want the barber's cloth round me, Mama decided to take off my shirt...So there I was at the salon bare bodied, having my hair cut! The lady cutting my hair was so nice as to style my hair with gel and she sprayed red dye on my hair to make me look funky...

Last Vaccination...before I turn 6

Today, I "pontang" school as I had an appointment with Dr Allyson Tan... I was so happy at the clinic playing with the toys while waiting for my turn... But once I entered the room, I became solemn as I could sense what was going to happen to me... I started crying once Dr Tan started checking on me and I let out the loudest cry when she poked me with the needle... But I cried for only a few seconds... Dr Tan commented that I was more fearful of the anticipation than of the needle...

And finally my growth is right on track at 84.5 cm and 12Kg...Yeah....

Brothers in ACTION

Well well...Today I spent another day with kor kor Elijah... We were at PLMC soaking the atmosphere of Children's Day

...There were alot of activities going on but since both of us are still tots, we just had to "relak one corner"... and copy each other's actions...yeah

We're going to the zoo zoo zoo

Today me and mummy went to the zoo with godma sabby and family... Had so much fun there that i dozed off when we reached the part of the zoo with giraffes,zebras and hippos... but i managed to see the white tigers, monkeys and turtles (currently my favourite animal)

Our home has changed!

Today we installed grilles in our house.. I'm getting more active each day so dada and mama decided that it's time to put grilles to prevent any mishaps

My latest addiction

I'm addicted to "Your Baby Can Read Videos"... Last time I only liked the books and I'll bug Mama to read all 5 books to me everyday... But somehow since I started going to Kindertots I've developed this liking for the videos as well... Maybe I miss my friends when I'm at home so I feel happy when I see the young kids in the videos.. I've watched the video 5 times today! Everytime I'm in the room, I'll ask Mama to switch on the player for me... Well well.... Mama will blog about Kindertots another day...I like going to school now and Mama is still deciding whether to let me attend daily lessons...

I'm sick!!!!!

Last Friday was a terrible day for Mama and Dada... I developed a fever of 38.8 degrees celsius cos of the MMR jab... Mama and Dada had to wake up at 3 am to sponge me...Dada still had to go to work at 5 am... Poor Dada.... As my immunity became lower cos of the jab, I also developed flu...haiz...I hate this MMR jab!!!!

Milk Milk Milk

Haha...At last after a long wait, there was a sale of Gain IQ milk at Giant...So Mama bought 6 tins (1.8kg) at $51.55 each... Then Dada saw the papers yesterday and found out that Guardian was selling it at an unbelieveable price of $49!!!! As the original price was $54.60 and I can finish one tin in 2 and a half weeks... this is the outcome.....!!!!!!!!!!!!????

I'm no longer the youngest!!!!

Cousin Emmanuel was borned on 30th May... so I'm no longer the youngest boy in Mama's side of the family (I'm still the only Bao Bei over at Dada's side...hee hee) ... After Baby Emmauel we'll be welcoming Baby Sherbelle in Dec...I'll be having a lot of playmates in the future

Trip to the airport

Today mummy brought me to the airport as Daddy was coming back from Sydney... Mummy was impressed as there was a playground at terminal 3 for me to play in...I had so much fun that I did not want to leave that place... There's so much space for me to walk around with so little people...It beats walking in the malls... Will upload the pictures another day

1st trip to Ion Orchard

Today was a busy day for me... Went out for lunch with Yeye and Nainai at Chatterbox cafe for chicken rice ...Mummy tried to feed me some but i rejected it as I still prefer the one at Serangoon Gardens...haha...I'm easy and cheap to maintain..

Then after we went shopping in Orchard as Daddy wanted to check out Ion Orchard...

as I look at your back while you're walking, I feel that my baby has grown into a little boy...and the best thing is that you have started calling me mama...

For the last 1 week mummy has been busy minding me as i've started to walk... i just love the freedom i'm getting now to go where ever i like..

Go Go Bambini

Today, me and mummy went with godpa, godma and kor kor elijah to go go bambini at dempsey..we spent the whole afternoon there...i had a good time exploring the place...with my handy shoes...after i got home i took my shoes and passed it to mummy as i wanted to go out some more... let's see what other activities will be in line for me this weekend...

Sentosa 26062009

Yesterday 3 of us went to sentosa for a short getaway to celebrate dada and mama's 3rd anniversary... We stayed at the siloso beach resort... This is the 1st time I'm going on a holiday with them and I enjoyed myself tremendously... We visited the butterfly park (its such a bore!!!!), watched the pink dolphins and the underwaterworld... But the highlight of the trip were the beaches there... I heard dada and mama mentioning that sentosa has changed so much that its actually quite happening with all the beach bars... because the weather was so hot, dada was the only one tanning while mama and me hid in the shade... The hotel pool was nice too and I had a fun time playing in the water..

Well, well... I can't wait to go for another holiday... so daddy, when is our next holiday??????

Mummy was so amazed to find me playing the trumpet.... haha...Think i have Daddy's music genes... yay!!!!
